Our Approach and Philosophy

At Life in Balance Counselling, we believe that meaningful change occurs when individuals are supported in understanding themselves, strengthening their inner resources, and engaging in intentional, values-driven growth. Our work is grounded in evidence-based practice and guided by a deep respect for each client’s lived experience.

We primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), complemented by Solution-Focused and Mindfulness-Based approaches. Rather than applying a rigid framework, these modalities are used flexibly and thoughtfully, allowing therapy to be responsive to each client’s unique needs, preferences, and goals.
